Stephen Longoria is a Hispanic artist from the Rio Grande Valley with a background in screen printing, woodworking, mural work, photography, and general fabrication. He has a strong foundation in the technical skills and experience necessary to create and print. His work has mainly been exhibited in San Francisco, San Jose, New York, and his home of Rio Grande Valley. In addition to his technical skills, he is deeply committed to engaging with and involving local communities in the creation of public art. Believing that public art should be meaningful and relevant to the community, actively seeking out opportunities to be involved in local communities in his work.
